こんにちは、ハヤの松谷あいです。

今回のこども英語講師養成科は3年ぶりでした。

育児休暇としての3年間は社会とうっすらとだけ繋がっていましたが、

本格的な社会復帰はとても緊張気味でした。

そんな中、開講式でのあいさつを考えるプロセスで大きな気づきがありました。

私も本気で一緒に学びたい。

今まではどこか、受講生と講師として、一線引いていて、

受講生のための授業をデザインしようと努めていました。

しかし今回からは、

心から自分が受けたい授業を創ろう！

そして、今まで15回のデザインとは違う新しい授業デザインに着手しました！

この決意表明を受けて、以下のあいさつがうまれました。

それでは、開講式でのあいさつです。

Welcome to HAYA English Academy!

Please call me Ai.

I hope that we will enjoy learning together for the next four months. I’ll make sure to put my heart and soul into this class. Please don’t hesitate to approach me or each other if you have any questions because I would like all of us to learn new things together.

We’ll be doing a lot of exercises and activities in order to get used to speaking English.

Let’s also try to see things from each other’s perspectives.

I am really looking forward to practicing a lot of dialogues and scenarios with you all that will not only bring out but enhance our potential.

As we speak, we are influential in nurturing Japanese children into future leaders.

That is why it is necessary for us to guide them as they navigate through life.

So, our first step is to create a lesson plan that will encourage the next generation to build a better world.

We are tasked to unlearn our old ways in order to open our minds to new and diverse ideals.

We will also have to think beyond society’s conventions and build upon our past achievements.

Therefore, we should all try to be flexible while practicing an optimistic attitude in order to keep ourselves motivated.

Nevertheless, even if we are faced with challenges and difficulties along the way, I will make sure that we are still able to enjoy this very exciting journey together.
