今年の英語でクッキングは1月17日、と日にちが迫ってまいりました。新年の抱負に、英語と料理を上げたかたがいらっしゃたら、ぜひ英語でクッキングで同時に習ってみませんか。
さて、下の英文は前回2012年11月15日のブリの照り焼きの回より、キム先生の感想です。年を越してのブログ掲載になってしまいました・・・。キム先生ごめんなさい。
そして日本語は明日です！長いですが、挑戦してみてください
A couple of weeks ago I had the huge pleasure to be a part of Let’s Cook in English.
To see all the students’ passion and team work during the cooking lesson inspired me so much, that from that moment I knew that I wanted to try to cook their dish myself. I took the recipe from the cooking class and ran home and started immediately to practice cooking Buri Teriyaki.
The first time I failed big time. I had way too much sugar in my sauce. So I made Buri Caramel Teriyaki. A bit sweet for my taste, I have to say. The second time I tried with chicken and I still felt it was not quite perfect for my Danish taste. So the third time I changed the recipe a little and this time I had the courage to cook the dish for my wife. A huge success. I was actually quite proud of myself. And she was shocked.
All my efforts to cook Buri Teriyaki was inspired by the students’ cooking class and observing them have fun with English and trying something new. To see all the smiles and happy faces was a wonderful experience and it gave me a very special evening in Oji.
So I would like to thank HAYA English Academy and of course the students who participated in the cooking class for a wonderful evening together and I hope to see you all again in the near future.
